SnowKite Pivot System

Colorado Kite Force is the foremost authority in Colorado on snowkiting, kite skiing, or kite snowboarding. We are now mobile, expanding our snow kite training abilities, with a complete IKO certified instruction program. We specialize in teaching kids, families, and kiters of all ages!

Emmet Sproul, in association with Colorado kiteforce and Ozone kites would like to offer a free introduction to Snowkiting to all Summit County Middle School and High School students and their parents on Saturday Feb 23. Students must be accompanied by a parent or adult. It will be held from 11:am until 2:pm at the "Sanitarium" aka Farmers Corner, at Lake Dillon across from the high school. It will be a fun and free way to experience the joys of snowkiting. Please come and have a great time with us learning to snowkite.

And for the Dillon snow kite series…

The March Series Event will be a Non-Event. There will be no official racing at this event. We will however be setting race marks for some entertainment and a possible unofficial race. Free Kite Demos will also be available from Ozone. Ozone team rider Jon McCabe and Naish team rider Raquel Lima will be here from Maui to help with Demos and also share pointers to make you a better kiter. But due to a lack of sponsorship and funding we will not be able to host a quality event this year. Conditions are marginal right now; with the potential to get really good or really bad depending on what mother nature decides to do to us. I encourage all locals to come out have have some fun together kiting on this weekend.

Colorado Kite Force has become the first and only snowkite certified IKO affilated School.

We have added a second snowkite lesson location on Dillon Reservoir at the Dillon Marina. This will ensure optimal wind conditions all winter!
